About this Tour

I’ve been driving guests from Jaipur to Agra for over 12 years now, and every trip still feels special. We usually start early—around 5:30 in the morning—because that’s when the roads are quiet and the sunrise hits just right on the Aravallis. The drive takes about 4 to 5 hours, and along the way, we often stop at Fatehpur Sikri. It’s a forgotten Mughal city with giant gates and peaceful courtyards. My guests always say it’s like stepping back in time.

By late morning, we reach the Taj Mahal. No matter how many times I’ve seen it, the white marble always leaves people speechless. I wait outside while my guests explore, and then we head for lunch and Agra Fort, just a few minutes away. That red sandstone palace has stories carved into every wall.

By 4 or 5 in the evening, we begin the journey back to Jaipur. Most folks fall asleep for a while—tired but happy. We usually reach back by 10:30 PM. It’s a long day, but for anyone wanting to see the Taj without an overnight stay, this tour does the job just right.

05:30 AM – Pickup from Your Hotel in Jaipur

Good morning! I’ll be right outside your hotel or location by 5:30 AM, ready with a clean, air-conditioned car. This early morning start helps us avoid traffic and enjoy a peaceful drive. Once you're settled in, we begin our journey towards Agra—about 4 to 5 hours away.
09:30 AM – Enroute Stop at Fatehpur Sikri (Optional, but Highly Recommended)

If you're up for it, we can make a short detour to Fatehpur Sikri. This ghost city was once the Mughal capital built by Emperor Akbar. The Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, and ancient palace ruins feel frozen in time. You’ll be walking through pages of history here.
10:30 AM – Resume Drive to Agra

After our stop, we’ll continue towards Agra. The road is smooth, and by now you’ll see the landscape change as we near the city of the Taj.
11:30 AM – Arrive at Taj Mahal

And here it is—the crown jewel. As your driver, I’ll wait outside while you explore the Taj Mahal. A local guide can be arranged on request. Take your time here. Whether you're admiring the white marble up close or capturing it in photos, the place leaves everyone speechless.
02:00 PM – Lunch Time

Feeling hungry? I’ll take you to a trusted, hygienic restaurant. Whether you're in the mood for Mughlai flavors or simple North Indian food, there are many great options nearby.
02:30 PM – Visit to Agra Fort

After lunch, we visit the mighty Agra Fort. It’s not just a fort—it’s a city within walls. Walk through Diwan-i-Khas, Diwan-i-Aam, and the Musamman Burj, where Shah Jahan spent his last years gazing at the Taj Mahal.
04:30 PM – Begin Return Journey to Jaipur

With your heart full and camera full, we’ll start the drive back to Jaipur. Sit back, relax, or take a nap as we drive through the rustic countryside.
10:30 PM – Drop-off at Your Hotel

We’ll reach Jaipur by late evening. I’ll drop you back safely to your hotel or location. It’s been a long but truly rewarding day—one I hope you’ll remember for years to come.
