About this Tour

Whenever I have guests who really want to experience India beyond just ticking boxes, I always recommend the Golden Triangle Tour 4 Nights 5 Days. It’s the perfect blend of history, culture, food, and color—all wrapped in one smooth journey.

We begin in Delhi, where the old and new India meet. From the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk and the mighty Jama Masjid to modern marvels like Lotus Temple and Qutub Minar, every street here tells a story. After soaking in Delhi’s soul, we drive down to Agra. Of course, the Taj Mahal steals the spotlight, especially at sunrise—it’s something I’ve seen dozens of times, but still gives me goosebumps. We also explore Agra Fort, Baby Taj, and some great local markets.

Next comes Jaipur—my personal favorite. Amber Fort looks like something from a fairytale, and riding an elephant up to it? That’s an experience in itself. We explore the royal City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, and colorful bazaars.

In just five days, you’ll live centuries of Indian royalty, love stories, and traditions. And by the time I drop you off, don’t be surprised if you’re already planning your next trip back.

Tour Plans

  • Day 1: Arrival in Delhi – Full Day Sightseeing

Namaste and welcome to India! The moment you land in Delhi, I’ll be there to greet you with a smile and fresh marigold garlands—a small gesture of our hospitality. After a smooth hotel check-in and some rest, we begin exploring the capital city. We start in Old Delhi, where the streets are alive with history and flavor. First up is Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India, followed by a thrilling rickshaw ride through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk—you’ll feel the pulse of the old city here. We drive past the majestic Red Fort, then head to Raj Ghat, where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. In New Delhi, we visit the India Gate, drive by the President's House, and explore Humayun’s Tomb, a peaceful precursor to the Taj Mahal. Later, admire the intricate details of the Qutub Minar and the spiritual calm of the Lotus Temple. By evening, you’ll return to the hotel to relax and enjoy your first night in India.

  • Day 2: Delhi – Agra (200 KM / 3–4 Hrs Drive)

After breakfast, we leave Delhi behind and hit the Yamuna Expressway—smooth and scenic—for a drive to Agra, the city of love. Once we reach, you’ll check into your hotel and freshen up. In the afternoon, we visit the grand Agra Fort, where you can almost feel the power of the Mughal empire. The fort is home to palaces like Sheesh Mahal, Deewan-e-Khaas, and Musamman Burj—where Shah Jahan once gazed at the Taj Mahal from captivity. Next, we explore the delicate beauty of the Itmad-ud-Daulah’s Tomb, often called the "Baby Taj". Before sunset, we’ll take you to Mehtab Bagh, a peaceful garden behind the Taj Mahal—perfect for watching the monument bathe in golden evening light. Later, you’ll have time to explore Agra’s local markets, famous for marble inlay work, leather, and handicrafts. Overnight stay in Agra.

  • Day 3: Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur (250 KM / ~5 Hrs Drive)

We start the day early with a visit to the Taj Mahal at sunrise. It’s quieter, cooler, and far more magical in the morning light. No matter how many times I’ve seen it, this moment never gets old. After returning to the hotel for breakfast, we check out and begin our journey to Jaipur. En route, we stop at the ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri—a perfectly preserved Mughal town that was mysteriously abandoned. Don’t miss the towering Buland Darwaza, Jodhabai’s Palace, and the peaceful courtyard of Salim Chishti’s tomb. By evening, we arrive in Jaipur, the Pink City. After check-in at your hotel, you can relax or stroll nearby for dinner and some local vibes. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

  • Day 4: Jaipur Sightseeing Tour

After breakfast, we head straight to the magnificent Amber Fort, perched high on a hill. Here, you’ll enjoy an optional elephant ride up the ramparts—it’s like stepping back into a royal era. Inside the fort, admire the shimmering Sheesh Mahal and stunning views from the palace walls. On the way back, we stop for photos at Jal Mahal, the water palace floating gracefully in the lake. Then we visit the City Palace, still partly home to the royal family and now a beautiful museum of costumes, weapons, and art. Next up is Hawa Mahal, the “Palace of Winds,” with its many windows where royal ladies once observed the city life. After lunch at a local restaurant (ask me for a thali recommendation!), we visit Jantar Mantar, an ancient stone observatory still accurate today. In the evening, we head to Birla Temple to witness the peaceful aarti (prayer ceremony). After a full day of sightseeing and shopping in the colorful Jaipur bazaars, we return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

  • Day 5: Jaipur – Delhi (265 KM / 5 Hrs Drive)

After breakfast, we pack up and begin the drive back to Delhi. It’s a good time to relax, go over photos, or just soak in the journey you’ve had. I’ll drop you at the airport, railway station, or your hotel—wherever your onward journey continues.

As I always say to my guests: You came as travelers but leave with memories—and a piece of India in your heart.
